The Mountain Home Bombers came up short against Van Buren, falling 2-1 in conference play.
With the loss, Mountain Home drops to 10-8 overall and 3-6 in the 5A West. Van Buren improves to 12-6 overall and 6-5 in conference, moving into third place in the league standings.
On the girls side, the Lady Bombers also fell, dropping a 2-0 decision.
Mountain Home is now 7-11 overall and 3-9 in conference play, while Van Buren picks up just its second win of the season and first conference victory.
