Kickoff is scheduled for 4 in Little Rock. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
The long-anticipated matchup is expected to draw thousands of fans to the 54,000-seat stadium.
Arkansas, a member of the Southeastern Conference, and Arkansas State, which competes in the Sun Belt Conference, have never faced each other in football despite decades of competition at the Division I level.
