Valley View, so far, has not had the greatest week ever in Mountain Home. After the 9th ranked volleyball squad was defeated by Mountain Home, the Bomber Tennis teams followed suit.
The Bomber boys saw success winning 4 of their 6 matches. In Boys’ singles Chandler Jones defeated Grayer Taylor 8-5. Anthony Jones defeated Gator Johnson 8-2 and Riley Edwards also defeated Johnson by the score of 8-1. In doubles action Strat Rucker/Ben Souder were taken down by Ben Roper/Ben Hyneman 3-8, Nathan Mooney/Max Goodwin defeated Tyson Lieblong/Mason Reese 9-7. Mooney/Goodwin would lose to Roper/Hyneman 1-8.
On the Lady Bomber side Mountain Home’s Mary Charles McConnell was defeated by Bella Seeman 6-8. Lady Bomber Addison Decker defeated Bentley Burris 9-7. McConnell was able to defeat Burris 8-4. On the doubles side Kiana Talbot/Devon Sussman defeated Sophie Ji/Madison Bearden of Valley View 9-7. Sienna Reed/Jentry Souder of the Lady Bombers defeated Folden/Milton 8-4. Reed/Souder also played against Ji/Bearded and were beaten 2-8.
Mountain Home will be back on the courts at Legacy Racquet Club for their next match September 22nd against West Memphis and Harding Academy.
