
An Ozark County woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning in McDonald County in the southwest corner of Missouri. The 62-year-old from Wasola was the only person in the vehicle.The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of those involved in motor vehicle or boating accidents.
According to the report, the accident happened when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin where she died of her injuries a short time later.
The accident happened on Missouri Route 76, five miles east of Anderson, at 9:55 Thursday morning.
