Although the Lady Bombers did not make it to the 5a state tournament as a team, two individuals for Mountain Home qualified for the tournament. Mountain Home’s Abby Edens and Anna Torres competed in the 5a state tournament at Ridgepointe Country Club in Jonesboro on Tuesday. Abby Edens would finish in 9th place overall at 84, at 12 shots over par. Abby would also be named all-state with her result. Torres would finish 4 strokes behind Edens at 88, shooting 16 over par. Russellville’s Susana Manns won the overall tournament finishing at 67, or 5 shots under par. Russellville would claim the team title by 4 strokes over Hot Springs Lakeside. This concludes the season for the Lady Bomber golf program.
