Cotter’s volleyball teams capped off a perfect conference season, winning both matches this week and claiming conference championships for Junior and Senior High. Remarkably, neither team has lost a single set all season. The Lady Warriors squads will play one final conference match tomorrow at home against Cedar Ridge for Senior Night.
Senior High dominated in straight sets with scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-9. Key performances included Reagan Cowart with 33 assists, Kenna Collins with 13 kills, and Myah McNutt with 12 kills and 7 digs. Riley Brotherton added 10 digs and 6 kills, Gracyn Jackson 8 digs and 3 kills, Zaylor Brotherton 5 kills, and Kaydence Kawell 3 digs.
Junior High also swept their match 25-8, 25-10. Standouts were Bailey Ivens with 12 kills and 3 digs, Lily McNutt with 8 kills, Kinnley Cowart with 14 assists and 5 digs, Aubree Beard with 4 aces and 4 digs, and Charlotte Williams with 3 aces and 4 digs.
Thursday’s Senior Night matchup against Cedar Ridge promises to be a celebratory end to a flawless conference campaign.
