Chiefs look to snap skid as Lions aim to stay hot in Sunday matchup

The Kansas City Chiefs will try to get back on track Sunday when they host the surging Detroit Lions in a Week 6 showdown at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs (2–3) have lost two straight, including a 27-–24 defeat last week, and are looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak since Patrick Mahomes became the starting quarterback in 2018. Kansas City’s offense has struggled with consistency, averaging just 21 points per game, while turnovers and red-zone miscues have stalled drives.

Detroit (4–1) enters as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, riding a four-game win streak behind quarterback Jared Goff and a balanced attack. The Lions rank among the league leaders in total offense and have been particularly effective on third down, converting more than 45 percent of their opportunities.

Kickoff is set for 7:20 at Arrowhead Stadium.
