Wednesday marks the final day for Baxter County property owners to pay their 2024 property taxes before penalties take effect. Payments not received or postmarked by the end of the day will incur a 10 percent penalty and daily interest charges.Taxes may be paid in person at the Baxter County Collector’s office, located at 8 E 7th St, during regular business hours, online at baxtercounty.org, or by mail if postmarked no later than today.
Officials expect higher traffic throughout the day as residents make last-minute payments.
