A woman who was arrested on September 19 for drug possession and criminal trespass appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court/Criminal Division October 6.

Thirty-five-year-old Jehan Herron pled not guilty to the charges against her.

She was picked up after Mountain Home police officers responded to an address along South Cardinal Drive where a caller said someone was setting up a “homeless camp” on property behind her residence.

After checking the “camp” and the belongings being kept there, it was suspected that two people, Herron and a male, were apparently involved.

Herron was located in front of a residence along Cardinal and initially taken into custody for criminal trespass.

She was asked if she had anything in her possession that the officers should be aware of and replied there was a meth pipe and a small plastic bag of the methamphetamine.
She was jailed on drug possession and criminal trespass charges.

The new charges triggered a revocation petition being filed in a 2024 case in which Herron had been put on probation for six years after being convicted of drug possession.

Court records do not indicate that the male, who has listed Herron as his fiancé on court documents, was ever charged in the incident.
