The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, cruising to a 31-0 shutout win at Arrowhead Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to wide receiver Rashee Rice, who returned for his first game since tearing his ACL last season and serving a six-game suspension. Rice finished with seven catches for 42 yards, and his early scores helped Kansas City build a commanding 21-0 halftime lead.

The Chiefs scored on their first five possessions and racked up 434 total yards while holding the Raiders to just 96 yards and three first downs. It was Kansas City’s 10th win in its last 11 meetings with Las Vegas.

Isiah Pacheco added a rushing touchdown, and Marquise Brown caught another TD pass as the Chiefs improved to 4-3 on the season.

Defensively, Kansas City smothered the Raiders’ offense, limiting quarterback Geno Smith to just 67 passing yards and holding top rookie rusher Ashton Jeanty to 21 yards on six carries.

The Raiders (2-5) lost star pass rusher Maxx Crosby to a knee injury in the first half and never recovered.

Kansas City will face Washington next Monday night, while Las Vegas heads into its bye week before visiting Jacksonville on Nov. 2.
