The Bobby D. Hulse Basketball Tournament kicked off Monday night in Norfork with opening-round action for both boys and girls teams.
In boys play, Calico Rock picked up a 43-41 win over Kingston to start the season 1-0. On the girls side, Bergman defeated Norfork 72-31, while Calico Rock topped Kingston 48-28.
The tournament continues Tuesday with Mammoth Springs’ girls taking on Timbo at 4, followed by the Mammoth Springs boys facing Timbo. The night will conclude with Cotter’s boys squaring off against Calico Rock at 6:30.
