Former Arkansas Razorback safety Kenoy Kennedy has been selected to the 2025 SEC Football Legends Class presented by T-Mobile. The announcement was made Wednesday by the Southeastern Conference.

The Legends Class includes 16 former SEC football standouts who will be honored during events surrounding the SEC Football Championship Game in Atlanta this December.

Kennedy played for the Razorbacks from 1996 to 1999, earning a reputation as one of the hardest-hitting safeties in program history. He recorded 287 tackles during his four-year career, leading the team in tackles in both 1998 and 1999. Kennedy earned second-team All-SEC honors in 1998 and was named first-team All-SEC and third-team All-America in 1999.

He was also named to the Razorbacks’ All-Decade Team for the 1990s and was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor in 2014. Kennedy was selected 45th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2000 NFL Draft and spent eight seasons in the NFL, playing for the Broncos and the Detroit Lions.

The 2025 SEC Football Legends Class will be recognized during the SEC “Weekend of Champions” on December 5th and 6th in Atlanta. Honorees will be celebrated at the SEC Legends Celebration on December 5th at the College Football Hall of Fame and recognized before the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on December 6th.

Arkansas is currently in the middle of a three-game homestand at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Hogs will face Auburn this Saturday with kickoff set for 11:45 a.m. on the SEC Network.
