Arkansas State rushed for 266 yards and four touchdowns to defeat Georgia Southern 34-24 on Saturday night at Centennial Bank Stadium.

Kenyon Clay (124 yards) and Devin Spencer (123) each eclipsed the 100-yard mark, marking the first Red Wolves duo to do so since 2016 against the Eagles. Quarterback Jaylen Raynor added 216 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns, helping A-State (4-4, 3-1 Sun Belt) erase an early 14-0 deficit.

The Red Wolves defense held Georgia Southern (3-5, 1-3) to 128 rushing yards and recorded a season-high four sacks, led by Demarcus Hendricks with two. Aaron Alexander had 10 tackles to pace the unit.

Clune Van Andel’s 27-yard field goal in the final minute sealed the win after Georgia Southern pulled within a touchdown late.

Arkansas State travels to Troy on Nov. 1 for a Sun Belt matchup on ESPNU.
