Local resident and parent Micha Johnson has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace in Baxter County’s District 8, running on a platform focused on family, community, and thoughtful growth.
Johnson, who has more than a decade of experience in engineering and telecommunications, said he hopes to use technology to make county government more efficient and to help attract new jobs and remote workers to the area.
“As the parent of a child with disabilities, I’ve learned how important it is to listen, include, and make sure no one is left behind,” Johnson said. “I’ll bring that same care and common sense to serving the people of District 8.”
