For the first time in school history, both the Mountain Home Bombers boys and girls cross country teams are 5A state champions.
The teams captured the titles Friday at the Arkansas State Cross Country Championships in Hot Springs, marking a historic dual victory for the Mountain Home program.
The win represents a milestone achievement for Mountain Home athletics, as no previous season has seen both programs claim the top spot in the same year.
