The Gassville City Council will meet Tuesday evening to consider several items of unfinished and new business, including an ordinance that would allow utility task vehicles (UTVs) on city streets.
The meeting is set for 6 at City Hall on South School Street.
Council members will open the night with four ordinances returning for additional readings. Those include the third reading of an ordinance establishing a monthly fee for properties that rely on sewer lift stations, as well as the third reading of an ordinance authorizing electronic fund transfers under state law. The council will also take up the second reading of updates to the personnel handbook adding cybersecurity, internet and AI policies, along with the third reading of a revision to a previously adopted ordinance.
New business will include consideration of extending the city’s banking terms, a first reading of the proposed UTV ordinance authorized under Act 922 of 2025, and discussion of an appointment to fill the Ward 1, Position 2 council seat.
City officials will also deliver updates to the council before adjournment.
