Calico Rock 7-2 hits the road as part of Thursday basketball schedule

Area high school basketball teams return to the court Thursday with a full slate of games across the region.

SENIOR BOYS
In senior boys action, Calico Rock enters at 7-2 and will travel to Melbourne, which sits at 1-2.

Jasper, off to an 11-1 start, hosts Wonderview at 8-5.

Norfork, now 2-7, is on the road to face Timbo at 5-9, while Valley Springs at 2-11 welcomes Kingston, still looking for its first win at 0-11.

Izard County, 2-1 on the season, heads to Nettleton, which stands at 4-2.

The scheduled matchup between Salem and Rural Special has been cancelled.

SENIOR GIRLS
On the girls side, Bergman brings an 11-1 record into a road trip to Harrison at 4-2.

Jasper at 9-5 hosts Wonderview at 6-3. Norfork, now 6-2, welcomes Timbo at 0-14.

Valley Springs at 7-6 meets Kingston, also 7-6, in a balanced pairing.
