
Arkansas State caught fire from deep, hitting a season-high 13 three-pointers in a 90-78 win at Little Rock Saturday night. T.J. Caldwell led the Red Wolves with 19 points, and Fredy-Salam Sylla added a career-high 16, as A-State stretched a seven-point halftime lead and held off a late Little Rock run.
The Red Wolves used a 10-0 first-half spurt to take control and finished the night shooting 49% from the floor, winning the rebound battle 42-24 and getting 36 points off the bench.
Next up, A-State travels to Houston to face Rice on Saturday at 2.
