The Mountain Home Lady Bomber wrestling team turned in a strong showing during Day 2 of the Diamond State Invitational at Springdale Har-Ber, with eight of 12 varsity wrestlers earning podium finishes.
Ellie Miller led the way with a second-place finish at 125 pounds, picking up five wins. Olivia McCoy placed third at 135 pounds with seven victories, while Ricia Recktenwald finished third at 170 pounds after earning five wins. Brooklynn Stuteville also claimed a third-place finish at 130 pounds, collecting three wins.
Fourth-place finishes went to Bailee Schaffner at 100 pounds with five wins, Hollianne Houle at 115 pounds with three wins, Jurzie Guiltner at 120 pounds with four wins, and Abry Campos at 190 pounds with two wins.
Additional wins and team points were earned by Dalyce Burrow, Cami Blyzes, Chrissa Bennett, Gracie Miller and Katie Barton, who each recorded two wins during the tournament.
The Lady Bombers return to the mat Tuesday with a trip to Batesville for a North Regional dual.
