The Baxter County Quorum Court will hold a regular session on Tuesday at 5:30 in the second-floor courtroom of the courthouse.
Items on the agenda include; the treasurer’s report from Jenay Mize, committee reports and a presentation from the Baxter County Conservation District, including an airport update by Dawn Downing-Wahl and Taylor Carmichael.
Under new business, the court is expected to consider several ordinances, including one appropriating $6,098 in fees and reimbursements for the sheriff’s office November 2025 budget, another increasing justice of the peace per diem rates under Ordinance 2025-1, and a third amending Ordinance 2021-9 to allow Baxter County to conduct business with White River Shipping alongside Benny Magness.
