The Mountain Home School District and the school board have been working towards remodeling the high school campus for several years, mainly to fix the aging 1960s-era structure known as the “Big top.” There have been two failed millage votes for the project, in 2022 and 2023.During its meeting last week, the board heard good news about the project. Superintendent Allyson Dewey and Director of Operations Chris Knight had a meeting earlier this month with the state Facilities and Transportation Division to discuss the early review results for the project.

Dewey says several key factors changed that helped that number to increase.
Listen:
Dewey says everything for the project is in the planning periods.
Listen:

Listen:
Dewey reiterates while the project itself has been approved by the state, the funding will not be approved until May of 2027.
