The Cotter City Council will meet Thursday at 6 at Cotter City Hall, with several major items on the agenda.

Council members will receive updates on ongoing cleanup efforts at properties on McLean Street and South Avenue, including one property that is now in the process of being sold. The council will also recognize the passing of Alderman Chuck Sugg and outline plans to fill the Ward 2, Position 1 vacancy. City officials say interested residents living in Ward 2 should contact the mayor prior to the Feb. 26 council meeting.

Other agenda items include presentation of the final 2025 Water and Sewer Audit, a proposed downtown development project known as “Outside the Box,” and discussion of a potential welcome sign entering Cotter from the west near Highway 62B and 412.

The council will also consider resolutions adopting the amended 2025 year-end operating budget, establishing a city council code of conduct, and setting guidelines for council meetings and activities.
