Winter storm forecast calls for heavy snow across northern Arkansas

Forecasters continue to warn of a significant winter storm expected to impact Arkansas in the coming days, bringing heavy snow, sleet, freezing rain and dangerously cold temperatures.According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, the latest official forecast calls for 8 to 12 inches of snow across much of northern Arkansas. Lighter totals are expected across central and southern portions of the state due to an increased potential for sleet.KTLO News spoke with senior meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Eric Greene, who explains what Twin Lakes area residents can expect.
