
The Arkansas women’s basketball team will try to snap a six-game losing streak Thursday night when it hosts Georgia inside Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m., with the game streaming on SECN+.
Arkansas enters the matchup at 11-9 overall and 0-4 in SEC play, while Georgia comes in 16-3 and 2-3 in conference action. The first 100 students in attendance will receive an Arkansas women’s basketball T-shirt.
The game marks the 48th all-time meeting between the two programs and the 45th since Arkansas joined the SEC. Georgia has won six of the last seven matchups, including both meetings last season. Arkansas’ last win over the Bulldogs came in Fayetteville in 2024.
Arkansas is playing its sixth SEC game under first-year head coach Kelsi Musick and has opened conference play against a tough slate of ranked opponents. The Razorbacks have been strong on the glass, ranking third in the SEC and seventh nationally in rebounding, led by Bonnie Deas. Taleyah Jones paces the team in scoring at 16.6 points per game.
The Razorbacks are coming off a 94-69 loss at Missouri, where Jones scored 22 points. Arkansas will remain at home Sunday to host fourth-ranked Texas.
