
Central Arkansas (11-10, 6-2 ASUN) pulled away in the second half to defeat Queens University (12-10, 7-2 ASUN) 100-90 on Wednesday night at Curry Arena, marking the Bears’ fourth consecutive win.
The Bears had five players score in double figures: Camren Hunter led all scorers with 31 points, while Luke Moore and Cole McCormick each added 19. Javion Guy-King chipped in 13, and Ty Robinson contributed 11 points.
Central Arkansas and Queens traded leads throughout a competitive first half, which ended with the Royals ahead 45-40. Hunter hit a late three-pointer in the half, part of his season-high performance.
The Bears surged in the second half, outscoring Queens 60-45. Robinson’s fast-break three-pointer early in the half cut the deficit to two points, and Hunter’s scoring tied the game at 67-all. Moore added crucial points down the stretch, and Central Arkansas dominated from the free-throw line, making 28 of 34 attempts to secure the 100-90 victory.
Central Arkansas will return to ASUN play in its next matchup, continuing its strong midseason run.
