Conference play heats up Friday night as several area teams hit the court in a packed slate that stretches from Yellville to Mountain View.
Yellville-Summit’s boys and girls squads will defend their home floor against Cave City, with the action tipping off at 6 p.m. Meanwhile, the Salem Greyhounds head to Flippin for a road matchup against the Bobcats, where both programs will try to gain ground in league standings beginning at 5 p.m. Cotter also faces a tough road test, traveling to Viola for a showdown with the Longhorns starting at 4:30 p.m.
In Harrison, the Goblins and Lady Goblins return to their home gym as they host the Bulldogs at 5 p.m., while Concord makes the trip to Calico Rock for a Pirates-versus-Pirates clash at the same time. Mountain View will try to protect its home court against Melbourne at 5 p.m., and Bergman welcomes Valley Springs, with the Lady Tigers tipping off the evening’s games at 5.
