
A large-scale law enforcement operation involving federal, state and local agencies resulted in hundreds of arrests this week in Northwest Arkansas.
Authorities reported 340 arrests and the execution of 110 arrest warrants during “Operation Springdale,” a three-day effort targeting individuals wanted for gang-related, drug and violent offenses in the Springdale area. The operation began Tuesday, Feb. 10, and concluded Thursday, Feb. 12.
Officers also seized firearms and significant quantities of illegal drugs. According to a news release, investigators recovered 95 grams of fentanyl, 4.13 pounds of methamphetamine and 55 grams of cocaine.
Charges associated with the operation included possession of child sexual abuse material, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to deliver.
