
With early voting for the March 3 Preferential Primary in Arkansas beginning in only one day, the Baxter County Clerk’s Office is making sure voters are ready to cast their ballots.
At a recent political forum hosted by KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News Baxter County Clerk Canda Reese says her office is ready for this voting season and explained what a partially closed primary will mean for voters.

If a voter is registered as optional they can request and vote the Republican ballot but will all candidates for Baxter County Sheriff, Baxter County Judge and most Justice of the Peace races declaring as Republican is there a way for registered Democrats to participate in the local elections?

Early voting begins Tuesday morning at 8 at First United Methodist Church at 605 West 6th St. in Mountain Home. The Baxter County Clerk’s Office is located at 1 E 7th St. in the Baxter County Courthouse in Mountain Home and can be reached by phone at 870-425-3475.
