Several area teams will continue postseason play Monday in the second round of the 1A-2 District Tournament at Concord, with both girls and boys matchups on the schedule.
In girls action, No. 5 seed Calico Rock will face No. 4 seed Rural Special at 4, with the winner advancing to meet top-seeded West Side on Tuesday. No. 3 seed Viola will take on No. 6 seed Concord at 6:40, and the winner will move on to face No. 2 seed Norfork in the next round.
On the boys side, No. 7 seed Viola will square off with No. 3 seed Concord at 8, with the winner advancing to play No. 2 seed Rural Special on Tuesday. In another contest, No. 4 seed Timbo will meet No. 8 seed Shirley at 5:20, and the winner will advance to face top-seeded Calico Rock.
