
Voters across Arkansas and the Twin Lakes area will begin casting their ballots in key races as early voting opens Tuesday for the March 3 Preferential Primary.
In Baxter County voters will begin the process of selecting a new sheriff for the first time in 22 years, decide a contested County Judge race and decide 5 Justice of the Peace seats. Early voting begins at 8 in the morning at First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home.
Marion County voters will look to weigh in on two proposed taxes for the building and maintaining of a new Community Center proposed to be built on the south side of Yellville while also voting on County Treasure and the district 9 seat on the Quorum Court. Early voting begins at 8 in the morning at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit.
The future of the sheriff’s office, several key county leadership positions and a proposed land annexation in Mammoth Spring are on the ballot for voter is Fulton County starting Tuesday. Early voting will be held at the Fulton County Courthouse Annex in Salem starting at 8.
