Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway has declared a countywide burn ban effective Wednesday.According to Hathaway, the decision was made after consulting with the county fire coordinator, the Office of Emergency Management and the Arkansas Forestry Commission.
The ban prohibits all outdoor burning until further notice.
