Sheila Kay Lance, 71, of Salesville, Arkansas passed away on February 20, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Sheila was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose quiet strength and loving heart touched all who knew her. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with warmth and compassion. She enjoyed crafting, singing and cheering on her Razorbacks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Daisy Dilbeck; her brothers, Ray and Bob Dilbeck; her beloved husband, Clyde Lance Jr. and her youngest daughter, Brandy Freeman.
She is survived by her son, Tony Lance of the home, who lovingly cared for her in her later years; her daughter, Amy Lance of Pea Ridge; her sister, Karren Dilbeck of Salesville; seven cherished grandchildren as well as her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many cousins, and dear friends.
Sheila will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery officiated by Pastor Brother James Johnson. Following the service, everyone is welcome to gather at the Fellowship Hall at Salesville Thee Bible Church.
