Friday’s matchup up between the ASUMH Trailblazer baseball program and visitors Moberly Area Community College at Cooper Park saw the Trailblazer unable to get past the Greyhounds.The first game ended with a score of 10-4 in favor of Moberly. The opening started strong for ASUMH with Broc Mattox homering to left field scoring three runs but the visitors quickly made up lost ground and keep the win out of reach for the home team.
The second game of the day continued the sweep which began Thursday with an additional two losses previously for ASUMH. The Trailblazers stayed with it until the end but Moberly pulled away late in a 7-6 victory.
The Trailblazers stand at 1-9 on the season and will look to regroup as they travel for their next game at Connors State College at Rogers High School on Monday.
