Baxter Health Foundation has announced the addition of Gianna Sherry as its newest gift officer, bringing two decades of experience in education to the organization’s fundraising efforts.
Sherry spent 20 years in education building relationships with students, families, and colleagues while leading initiatives and driving measurable results. She says those same skills translate directly to her new role in philanthropy.
“I’m a former educator who decided to trade lesson plans for donor plans, and I couldn’t be more excited about it,” Sherry said. “I bring a teacher’s heart, a leader’s mindset, and a collaborator’s spirit, connecting people to purpose and helping supporters see the power of their generosity.”
Sherry holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership, a Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. A Mountain Home resident for the past 20 years, she will work closely with donors and community partners to support healthcare for the region.
