A Fulton County man has been arrested for assaulting his parents, including choking his mom into unconsciousness, and then resisting arrest while he was naked. Facing three charges for the incident is 33-year-old Lance Keith Goodman of Mammoth Spring.

According to the probable cause affidavit from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and the Arkansas State Police responded to a residence for domestic disturbance earlier this month.

It was learned Goodman appeared to “be on something” and a physical altercation occurred between him and his mother. Witness statements say Goodman put his hands around his mother’s neck and choked her until she lost consciousness. He also hit her, dislocating her jaw and splitting her lip.

As his mother was waking up, Goodman’s father arrived and Goodman struck him in the face.

Goodman was persuaded to go outside where he removed all of his clothing. When law enforcement arrived, Goodman resisted, but was eventually taken into custody.

An ambulance was called for the female victim, but she refused treatment, saying she had set her jaw back in place herself.

Goodman is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member along with misdemeanor charges of third degree domestic battery and resisting arrest. He is free after posting $10,000 bond.
