Marion County Sheriff's Office has outage in phone lines

     Telephone lines and radios are out of commission at the Marion County Sheriff's Office. According to Captain Dusty Smith, the phone outage began around three p.m. Thursday. There is no word on the cause of the outage, but they're looking at having the lines restored possibly by Friday morning. Captain Smith says Marion County residents are asked to dial 911 to contact the sheriff's office, even for non-emergencies.
