The 2026 Polar Plunge annual fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics of Arkansas is returning to the area Saturday. The event will take place at Henderson Marina on Norfork Lake beginning that morning with on-site registration at 10, awards at 10:30 and participants will begin lining up for the countdown to plunge at 11.

Regional Development Coordinator Keeshia Geurian says the event brings awareness to the Special Olympics in the state and is crucial in the raising of funds for the athletes as they train year-round.
