Federal investigators are looking into a deadly small plane crash in northwest Arkansas after an aircraft went down Thursday into Beaver Lake in Benton County.
According to a report Thursday afternoon by KY3 News, the Federal Aviation Administration said the pilot was the only person on board when the aircraft crashed into the lake. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
The Arkansas Air and Military Museum in Fayetteville identified the pilot as Kim Sweet, describing Sweet as a cherished member of the museum.
