
No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks couldn’t keep pace with a surging No. 7 Florida Gators, falling 111-77 Saturday night at Exactech Arena.
Arkansas stayed competitive early and led 16-11 after a jumper by Darius Acuff Jr. with 14:28 left in the first half, but Florida answered with a decisive 12-0 run and seized control for the remainder of the game. The Razorbacks struggled offensively, shooting just 35 percent in the first half and finishing the night at 40 percent from the field.
Florida dominated inside, outscoring Arkansas 56-44 in the paint and outrebounding the Hogs 51-31. The Gators shot 56.5 percent overall and went 25-of-32 from the free-throw line, while Arkansas managed just 4-of-13 from three-point range and 54.2 percent at the stripe.
Billy Richmond III led Arkansas with 22 points, marking his fifth straight game with at least 20. Acuff added 17 points and six assists, DJ Wagner scored 15 off the bench and Meleek Thomas finished with 10.
Florida clinched at least a share of the SEC regular-season title with the win. Thomas Haugh paced the Gators with 22 points, Alex Condon added 17 and Rueben Chinyelu posted a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds as seven Florida players reached double figures.
Arkansas returns home Wednesday night to close the regular season against rival Texas at Bud Walton Arena.
