The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet Monday evening for it’s monthly scheduled meeting, one day earlier than its normal schedule due to Tuesday’s Preferential Primary Election.Items scheduled under new business include several budget appropriation ordinances involving funds for the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the county coroner’s office and jail operations. Court members will also consider accepting donated funds toward the purchase of an additional vehicle for the coroner’s office.
The court is also expected to vote on a resolution confirming the reappointments of Peter Kauth, Terry Buchman and Eddie Danhauer to the Northeast Lakeside Fire Department Board of Commissioners.
The meeting is open to the public and begins at 5:30 in the second floor courtroom in the Baxter County Courthouse.
