Dakota Kennedy blasted three home runs and drove in five runs to lead No. 7/8 Arkansas to an 11-3 run-rule victory over Kansas in five innings Sunday at Bogle Park.
The Razorbacks improved to 19-1 on the season and completed an undefeated run through the Wooo Pig Classic while extending their winning streak to 17 games the second-longest in program history.
Kennedy, a senior left fielder, became just the third player in Arkansas history to hit three or more home runs in a single game. Danielle Gibson hit four in 2019, and Rylin Hedgecock hit three in 2023.
Kennedy opened her big day with a solo home run in the first inning, added a two-run shot in the second and capped the performance with another two-run homer to left-center field. It marked her first career three-homer game, her sixth career multi-homer game and her third game with five or more RBIs.
Arkansas’ offense struck quickly, scoring five runs in the first inning, two in the second, one in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Karlie Davison also homered and drove in three runs, while Kailey Wyckoff and Reagan Johnson each collected two hits.
Robyn Herron earned the win in the circle, tossing three no-hit innings with five strikeouts and two walks. Lila Partridge took the loss for Kansas after allowing five runs in the first inning.
Fourteen of Arkansas’ 19 wins this season have come by run rule.
