Secretary of State Cole Jester predicts record-breaking early voting turnout

Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester announced today that early voting across the state is on track to surpass the highest primary election early voting turnout in Arkansas history.In 2022, Arkansas saw its largest primary election early voting turnout of 208,528. By the close of early voting today, March 2, 2026, Arkansas is projected to significantly surpass that number.

“This is proof we can have secure elections that are easy to participate in. This past year we brought Arkansas to number one in election security, and we are still breaking turnout records for the early vote,” said Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester.

The Secretary of State’s Office continues to work closely with county clerks and election officials to ensure early voting remains smooth, secure, and accessible across Arkansas.

As a reminder, early voting closes today at 5:00 p.m. across the state. March 3rd Election Day polling sites will be open from 7:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m.
