Razorbacks host Texas in final home game of regular season

The No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks will play their final home game of the regular season Wednesday night when they host rival Texas at Bud Walton Arena.

Tipoff is set for 6, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

Arkansas closes the home portion of its schedule with the matchup before finishing the regular season Saturday at Missouri.

Wednesday’s contest will also mark the final home game for four-year Razorback Trevon Brazile and transfer Nick Pringle.

Brazile is having a career year, averaging 12.3 points per game while posting career highs in rebounds with 198 and steals with 44. He has also been named SEC Player of the Week twice this season.

For his career, Brazile has scored 1,056 points and grabbed 709 rebounds, including 905 points and 589 rebounds during his time at Arkansas.

Arkansas and Texas have met 157 times, making the Longhorns the Razorbacks’ second-most played opponent behind Texas A&M.

The Razorbacks hold an 89-68 advantage in the all-time series and are 47-21 against Texas in Fayetteville. Arkansas has also won 34 of the last 49 meetings between the two programs dating back to the 1974-75 season.

Following Wednesday’s game, Arkansas will close the regular season Saturday at Missouri, with tipoff scheduled for 11 a.m. on ESPN.
