Melbourne’s girls saw their season come to an end Tuesday, falling to McGehee 60-51 in the first round of the Class 3A girls state tournament at Osceola.
Several area teams will be in action Wednesday in state tournament play.
In the 3A girls state tournament, Mountain View will take on DeWitt at 1.
In Class 1A girls state tournament action at Lafayette County, Viola faces County Line at 1, while Norfork will meet Scranton at 4.
On the boys side, Bergman will take on McGehee in the 3A state tournament at 5:30.
In the 1A boys state tournament, Jasper faces Concord at 2:30, and Lead Hill will play Crowley’s Ridge Academy at 5:30.
