
The Mountain Home Bomber soccer teams split their matches with rival Harrison Tuesday night, as the Bomber boys earned wins at both the junior varsity and varsity levels while the Lady Bombers fell in the nightcap.
The Bomber JV team opened the evening with a 1-0 victory over the Goblins. Thomas Boskus scored the lone goal for Mountain Home, with assists credited to Shep Martin and Kollin Thompson. Goalkeeper Rayden Cunningham recorded two saves to preserve the shutout.
In varsity boys action, the Bombers improved to 7-0 on the season with a 2-0 win over Harrison, which falls to 0-3. Mountain Home led 1-0 at halftime before adding an insurance goal in the second half.
Dierks Beauregard and Jacob Bzdel each scored for the Bombers, while Kaleb Daniel recorded an assist. Goalkeeper Jonas Balle finished with four saves in the shutout victory.
In the girls match, Harrison defeated Mountain Home 6-0. The Lady Bombers fall to 1-2 on the season, while Harrisons girls improve to 2-1.
