A Missouri man listed on the FBI’s most wanted list has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a nationwide cattle fraud scheme.

According to the FBI’s Dallas field office, Joshua Link of Strafford was taken into custody Monday at LAX by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Los Angeles Airport Police and FBI task force officers with the Los Angeles Police Department.

Authorities say Link faces 10 counts of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and two counts of money laundering.

Investigators allege Link and several others were involved in a large-scale investment scheme tied to Agridime LLC, a Fort Worth, Texas-based company where Link served as executive director.

Prosecutors say the group told investors their money would be used to buy and raise cattle and then sell the meat for profit. Instead, officials allege the defendants collected more than $220 million from over 2,200 victims across the United States.

Authorities also say more than $527,000 in wired funds were used to purchase real estate as part of the scheme.

Other individuals charged in the case include Tia Link of Smithton, Missouri; Jed Wood of Fort Worth, Texas; Taylor Bang of Kildeer, North Dakota; and Royana Thomas of Arlington, Texas. They also face multiple counts of wire fraud and money laundering.

The alleged scheme took place between January 2021 and December 2023, according to investigators.
