Mike Kehoe has signed the Fiscal Year 2026 supplemental budget bill approved by the Missouri General Assembly, allowing current state government operations to continue through the upcoming fiscal year.
The measure, House Bill 2014, totals more than $3.1 billion and includes $516.8 million in general revenue, $1.9 billion in federal funding and $670.3 million in other funds.
Kehoe said the legislation ensures essential state services will continue while also supporting key public safety and disaster response efforts.
The spending plan includes funding across several areas, including $180,000 for child physical abuse forensic examination claims and $3.7 million to support specialized care for children and youth with intensive needs.
The budget also sets aside $10.4 million for employment services to help individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
Additional funding includes $73.8 million in World Cup-related federal grants, including $14.2 million for counter-unmanned aircraft system programs.
The legislation also allocates $86 million for tornado disaster relief in St. Louis and $830 million in disaster spending authority for the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency.
State officials say the supplemental budget provides the necessary authority to address ongoing needs while maintaining government operations through fiscal year 2026.
