
The ASUMH Trailblazers saw mixed results Friday in a double header as they played host to Southern Arkansas Tech.The Trailblazers fell in the first game with a final score of 6-3. Keaton Matlick took the loss surrendering five runs and 10 hits.
Fortunes changed in a tight second game that saw ASU defeat the visitors 16-14. Both offenses were strong at the plate as ASUMH collected 11 hits and SAU Tech 13 in the high scoring match up. Logan Myer pitched five innings of relief striking out five and walking four. Sloan Foster led things off on the hill for ASUMH striking out three and walking five.
The two teams will face off again Saturday in Mountain Home with two games scheduled to start at 1 and 3:30.
