Search underway for possible drowning victim in Maumelle

Authorities are continuing to search for a reported drowning victim in Maumelle.

Officials say Maumelle Police and Fire responded to a call just after 3 p.m. Thursday near the boat ramp at Park on the River.

The North Little Rock Fire Department and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the ongoing search.

There has been no information released on the identity of the possible victim.

Authorities say Park on the River is closed to the public as the search continues.
