Gassville City Council to consider ordinances, water project funding Tuesday

The Gassville City Council will meet Tuesday evening at 6.Under new business, council members will discuss water and wastewater audit items, presented by Brian Haas.

The council will also consider several ordinances, including an ordinance establishing minimum starting hourly wages per position for city employees, an ordinance adding cybersecurity, internet and artificial intelligence policies to the personnel handbook on first reading and an ordinance regulating outdoor burning, including permit requirements and repeal of conflicting ordinances.

Additional items include consideration of appropriations for a water tank painting project and a sewer lift stations generator.

The meeting will take place at City Hall, located at 204 South School St. and is open to the public.
